Introduction: Ever since the Superstar Shakeup, The Usos have had their plates full. They have the ongoing feud with The Revival on Raw and making sure the SmackDown Tag Team Championships are being earned. The Usos have been deemed one of the Greatest Tag Teams of the Millennium. Last week, Roman Reigns found himself dealing with a new authority figure. This week, The Big Dog needed aide. He sought out The Miz. The Miz definitely agreed to have his back. But what happens when THe Miz gets banned by Shane McMahon? You call family. There was no one better to call than #TheBloodline, The Usos.

The Usos let Roman know that when he’s down in numbers, family will always have his back. So when Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan, Luke Harper and Elias jumped on The Miz and Roman, The Usos were right there to help fend off the gang. So how will Roman & The Usos fair against Shane, Daniel, Rowan and Elias? WWE.com has the latest from the match below.

LONDON — Continuing their conversation from the night before on Raw, Roman Reigns and The Miz kicked off SmackDown LIVE in London by discussing who was going to get the first crack at Shane McMahon tonight on the blue brand, but their chat was soon re-routed when they were by Shane McMahon & Elias, who seemingly both were eager to have their WWE Money in the Bank matches against Miz and Reigns respectively to come early.

It quickly became apparent that Shane & Elias had set a trap for Reigns and Miz as Daniel Bryan & Rowan joined Shane-O-Mac and Elias and were clearly ready to pounce. However, just as the quartet attacked and began to lay into Miz & Reigns, the Wild Card Rule struck again, with The Usos dashing out to join the fray. Jimmy & Jey wiped out Shane, Elias, Bryan and Rowan with stereo dives and stood tall alongside Reigns & The A-Lister to kick off SmackDown LIVE in Uso crazy fashion.

After The Usos of Raw used the Wild Card Rule to come to the aid of Roman Reigns and sparked a brouhaha with Shane McMahon, Elias, and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan, Shane decreed that all seven Superstars would run it back in a 4-on-3 Handicap Match. Noticeable by his absence was The Miz, who Shane barred from ringside earlier in the evening, saying that if The A-Lister showed up during the Handicap Match, Shane would immediately cancel their Steel Cage Match this Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank.

When Jey Uso tweaked his ankle after missing a high-risk maneuver, the foursome took advantage of their numbers advantage, with Shane-O-Mac wearing down Jey and the rest of the squad following suit.

Despite absorbing tremendous punishment from his opponents, Jey rallied back and dropped Shane with a pinpoint kick before finding the energy to tag a fresh Big Dog into the matchup. Reigns unloaded on Bryan and eventually tagged in Jimmy, which allowed The Usos to run wild. A flurry of action saw Bryan connect with his Running Knee and Reigns level Rowan with a Superman Punch on the outside. During the melee, Jey Uso found himself in prime position to be hit with Shane’s Coast-to-Coast that secured the victory for the quartet.

Shane seemed ready to continue the attack after the bell, but The Miz put a stop to any such thing when he dashed out with a steel chair to even the odds for Reigns & The Usos, clearing the ring of Shane, Elias, Bryan and Rowan. There will be no escape for Shane this Sunday though, when he and Miz are locked inside the confines of a Steel Cage.

In an absolute dream match, The Usos defended the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The Hardy Boyz on SmackDown LIVE.

The two legendary Hall of Fame-bound tag teams went at it with intensity as Matt & Jeff pushed the pace and staggered Jimmy & Jey with several of their signature moves. Jey regained the advantage for his team after connecting with the big splash, but the Hardys survived the onslaught. When The Charismatic Enigma avoided a double splash, The Hardy Boyz rallied, putting Jey down with a Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb that secured them their eighth Tag Team Championship reign.

The good vibes wouldn’t last long though, as Lars Sullivan arrived and picked up right where he left off after attacking Kurt Angle last night. Matt & Jeff attempted to bring the fight to the monstrous Sullivan, but The Freak laid them out with a pair of Freak Accidents and nailed Matt with a devastating flying headbutt.

The Hardy Boyz were the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but they were also Lars’ latest victims.

With a chance to face The New Day next week for the opportunity to take on The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam, The Usos took on Sheamus & Cesaro on the blue brand in a high-octane contest.

The New Day provided guest commentary (from their own pancake-filled table!) as they scouted the two veteran teams, who were holding nothing back in pursuit of the massive opportunity at The Biggest Event of the Summer. Sheamus & Cesaro attempted to wear down Jimmy & Jey, showing no signs of ring rust after their break from the squared circle. However, The Usos battled back, as the match starting to look like a game of Pong on Atari with all the momentum swings.

After several chaotic exchanges, Cesaro & Sheamus caught each Uso with an Uppercut and knees to the gut respectively, allowing The Bar to pick up the clutch victory and advance to the final round. After the match, The New Day left their post and entered the ring to face off with their trash-talking opponents. The squads stared each other down for a few moments with Bi g E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods looking ready to scrap. However, finding it wise to fight another day, Sheamus & Cesaro slowly backtracked out of the ring, clearly preferring to wait to get into it until their match next week.

The Usos Confronted The Reunited Team Hell No

Following their shocking reunion last week, Team Hell No kicked off SmackDown LIVE by chatting with Renee Young. Kane explained to the WWE Universe that he figured it would only be a matter of time before Daniel Bryan could use some backup and that The Beard’s run-in with The Bludgeon Brothers last week was the time to come to the rescue. However, as the two friends tried to express their excitement about their upcoming SmackDown Tag Team Championship opportunity at WWE Extreme Rules, they also couldn’t help but fall back into their old patterns of arguing over… well, pretty much everything. The two soon found themselves in a shouting match, but they were quickly interrupted by The Usos.

Jimmy and Jey were happy to see that Team Hell No were back together but took great exception to Bryan & Kane receiving a title opportunity right out of the gate. The Usos believed that Bryan and Kane had been awarded the title match for all the wrong reasons, a claim that Team Hell No of course refuted. Seeing tensions rising between the two teams, SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige hit the scene with a blockbuster announcement: Team Hell No would receive their opportunity against The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WWE Extreme Rules no matter what. However, if The Usos could defeat Team Hell No tonight in the main event, Jimmy & Jey would be added to the match to make it a Triple Threat.

And, well, how do you say “no” to that?!

Team Hell No def. The Usos

With the stakes as high as could be for The Usos, Jimmy & Jey took on Team Hell No with a place in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match at WWE Extreme Rules on the line for them if they could prevail.

The two legendary tag teams went all out in a hard-hitting thriller that absolutely captivated the WWE Universe. As the match progressed, Jimmy & Jey caught fire, kept The “Yes!” Man down and continued to apply the pressure with high-impact offense. However, showing no rust at all, Daniel Bryan and Kane fought back, and when Kane incredibly caught both Usos in Chokeslam position from his back, Bryan knocked out Jimmy with the Running Knee, and The Big Red Machine connected with the Chokeslam on Jey for the win.

Team Hell No couldn’t bask in their victory as much as they would’ve liked, however, as their celebratory “Yes!” chant was cut short when The Bludgeon Brothers arrived at the top of the stage, staring holes into Bryan and Kane and reminding them of the challenge that awaits them at WWE Extreme Rules.

With emotions running high, all six Superstars were relentless. SAnitY’s unpredictable attack kept Hardy & The Usos reeling, but the WWE veterans refused to stay down, firing back every chance they got. In the critical moments, The Usos eliminated Killain Dain with a barrage of superkicks and a massive dive, which allowed The Charismatic Enigma to hit Alexander Wolfe with a picture-perfect Swanton Bomb for the win in the impromptu Six-Man Tag Team Match.

The long-awaited debut of SAnitY on SmackDown LIVE put them right in the thick of the fire, as they were scheduled to take on three-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in their first match. The Usos spoke on what it takes to make a name for yourselves on SmackDown LIVE prior to the contest and then awaited their newly arriving challengers. However, Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe refused to wait for the opening bell and instead mercilessly ambushed Jimmy & Jey before the match could begin.

The trio left The Usos laying after taking out Jimmy & Jey with several high-impact maneuvers to make a very clear statement: Not only had they arrived, but so had the chaos that comes with them.
