According to NorthAmericanWrestlingRankings.blogspot.com, which started keeping track of tag teams’ records and ranking them as of Oct. 8, 2007, when Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated Fandango and Tyler Breeze on the 6/30/16 episode of Raw it was their 100th televised win! That makes them the first team to reach this milestone! No other team is anywhere near this record. As of 6/3/16 Beer Money is next in line with 58 wins, The Dudley Boyz/Team 3D and The Prime Time Players each have 44 wins, and Epico and Primo/Los Matadores have 42 wins.

[note: these statistics are for televised and ppv tag team matches since Oct. 8, 2007 ONLY!]

With Roman’s target for his title changing from A.J. Styles to the returning Seth Rollins, where does this leave The Bloodline in all of this. Will they continue to stick together in this new feud or will the now broken up Club have something to say about it? What is in store for The Usos on Smackdown?

The one convention that prevents tag team matches from erupting into utter bedlam — the requirement to tag one’s partner in or out of action — will not apply at Extreme Rules when Jimmy & Jey Uso face Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows in a rare Tag Team Tornado Match.

Per the rules of the match, all four Superstars will be allowed to compete in the ring at the same time, with the first fall deciding the victors. Given the promise of carnage, the bout is a fitting way to settle the increasingly volatile rivalry between the two teams.

Since the moment of their shocking arrival to WWE, Anderson & Gallows have targeted The Usos and — with or without the endorsement of their Club cohort, AJ Styles — Jimmy & Jey’s cousin, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. As Styles and Reigns look ahead to their lawless Extreme Rules Match for the title, their respective squads now have their own brawl on the horizon.

Will The Usos’ innate sense of teamwork allow them to overcome Anderson & Gallows in the fast and furious environment of a Tag Team Tornado Match? Or will the ruthless newcomers punish the 2015 Slammy Tag Team of the Year in this cyclonic clash? Not to be forgotten is the affect this bout potentially will have on Reigns vs. Styles; how might the physical toll endured during the Tornado Match alter either team’s plan to keep a close eye on the championship main event?

With the rest of “The Bloodline” and The Club watching at ringside, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and Luke Gallows engaged in a huge slugfest in SmackDown’s main event. The two powerhouses traded blows in a hard-hitting showdown that soon erupted into pure bedlam after AJ Styles grabbed the foot of his Extreme Rules opponent.

The contest completely broke down when Karl Anderson entered the contest to help Gallows take out the titleholder, prompting the referee to call for the bell. This was just the beginning of the fight, however, with all hell breaking loose around the SmackDown announce table as the show went off the air.

With their fight continuing to escalate, the cameras kept rolling as the two factions brawled around the ring and Jimmy & Jey battled Gallows & Anderson throughout the arena. This left the two WWE World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Rules Match opponents alone inside the squared circle to face off. The evenly matched rivals proceeded to not only smash their steel chairs together in a thunderous collision, but then take turns sending one another from the ring with vicious steel chair strikes to the back. In the end, The Big Dog stood tall inside the squared circle, but will we see a similar sight Sunday at Extreme Rules?

Over the past couple of weeks, The Usos have gotten the push (sort of) that their fans have been wanting for a long time. It came at the expense of A.J.’s friends Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, but The Usos finally are in the spotlight. Unfortunately, it is crowded in the spotlight because their cousin Roman Reigns is with them.

Anderson and Gallows have targeted The Usos and haven’t let them out of their sight. Raw after Raw, Smackdown after Smackdown both teams have been opponents in tag matches. Some won fairly and others overshadowed by Reigns vs Styles feud. Will this end up as family vs friends or will each break out in their own feud? Will The Family stick together or will the friends last forever? Who will get the upper hand on Smackdown?
