Mini Bio: Family. Family protects at all costs. They make sure that everyone at their table is fed. Jimmy and Jey both have that protector in Roman Reigns. Reigns is currently the Universal Champion and his family has rightfully named him the Tribal Chief or The Head of the Table. Reigns had to work hard to get his two cousins, The Usos, to fall in line. Jey fell in line fairly quickly, but when Jimmy returned, he was having none of that. He feels Roman let the title go to his head. The Usos alone are 7x Tag Team Champions and have been named Tag Team of the year. Jey even won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So when it comes to hard work, they aren’t afraid, but they accomplished it on their own.

After winning the Tag Team Championships for the 7th time at Money In The Bank, The Usos remain on a high going into SmackDown. The Usos have made the statement that they are the greatest tag team and they back it up every single time. Tonight The Jimmy Uso goes one on one with Dominik Mysterio. What will happen tonight? Who will gain the upper hand?

Jimmy Uso def. Dominik Mysterio
In the wake of The Usos’ victory over Rey & Dominik Mysterio on the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff to once again become SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Uso scored a singles victory over Dominik with a swift Superkick after a hard-fought battle that saw Rey Mysterio and Jey Uso in their respective corners.

Time to make room in The Bloodline’s trophy case.
On the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff, the second stop on WWE’s return in front of live audiences, Jimmy & Jey Uso fulfilled the prophecy of their cousin, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and defeated Rey & Dominik Mysterio to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

Cheered by the vocal WWE Universe inside the sold-out Dickies Arena, the father-son alliance of Rey & Dominik used a vast arsenal of high-flying moves to put The Usos on their heels, and The Mysterios appeared primed for victory as Rey dialed up the 619 against Jimmy. Jey, however, sacrificed himself in the name of family and took the blow for his brother, giving Jimmy time to recover and drill The Ultimate Underdog with a thunderous superkick.

The Usos then prepared to put away the elder Mysterio with a double top-rope splash, only for Dominik to save the day by ripping Jey off the turnbuckle. In the chaotic moments that immediately followed, Jimmy rolled up Rey, and Jey, outside the ref’s sightline, provided an assist by putting his weight behind his twin brother’s pin attempt, denying Mysterio any chance of kicking out.

The Usos’ victory marks their fifth reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions and seventh tag team title win overall. But if you were to ask Jimmy & Jey, odds are they’d say even those incredible milestones pale in comparison to what matters most: making The Head of the Table proud.

It has been a year and a half since the superstars of the WWE were in front of live crowds. Since the world was basically shut down due to the Corona Virus pandemic, WWE set up shop in what was known as the Thunderdome with an autotuned crowd. Wrestlemania was moved to two nights, which was actually a great idea since it is the longest Pay Per View in WWE. The Usos were out due to Jimmy Usos injury until the May 29 SmackDown episode where Jey was entered into a 10-man Battle Royal where he was the runner up. This was what eventually started his solo run and run alongside Roman Reigns. On the May 7, 2021 episode of SmackDown, Jimmy Uso returned and now after some back and forth between he and Roman, the Bloodline is stronger than ever. The Usos are now in the hunt to become the 7x WWE Tag Team Champions. Tonight they are in action along side Roman Reigns to face Edge and The Mysterios. What will happen in this EXPLOSIVE 6 man tag team main event?

Match Number One: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) versus Edge, Dominik Mysterio, and Rey Mysterio

Jey hits Edge from behind and the referee starts the match. Edge with a flapjack to Jey. Dominik tags in and gives Jey an arm wringer and then Rey tags in and he hits a double sledge. Rey with a wrist lock and Jey with a forearm and Jimmy tags in. Rey with an arm drag into an arm bar. Edge tags in and he kicks Jimmy in the arm. Edge continues to work on the arm. Rey tags back in and Edge holds Jimmy for a springboard seated senton splash for a near fall. Dominik tags in and he hits a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Dominik with an arm drag into an arm bar. Jey tags in and he connects with an enzuigiri and Jimmy with an enzuigiri. Jey with a splash into the corner and it is time for the table to tag in. Roman pulls Dominik out of the ring to the floor. Roman gets a near fall. Dominik goes back to the floor and Roman watches from the apron. Roman sends Dominik’s head into the announce table. Roman sets for a power bomb onto the announce table and hits it.

We are back and Dominik kicks Jimmy and hits a tornado DDT. Both men are down. Jey tags in and so does Edge. Edge goes after Jimmy on the apron and he swings at Roman. Edge with a hot shot to Jey followed by a baseball slide to Jimmy and a clothesline to Roman. Rey tags in and hits a springboard seated senton and then Rey with a satellite DDT and Jimmy breaks up the cover. Dominik sends Jimmy to the floor and Dominik with a springboard cross body to Jimmy but Roman sends Dominik into the ring post. Jey with a punch and Rey with a rana that sends Jey into the ropes but Roman blocks the 619 and he runs Rey into the apron and then back into the ring. Edge spears Roman because Roman was distracted by an announcer standing up. Rey with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall and Jimmy punches Rey and Jey with a rollup and some help for the three count.

Winners: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns

After the match, Jey attacks Rey and sends Rey into the ring post. Jimmy and Jey work over Dominik. Edge comes in and hits Jimmy and Jey with a steel chair. Roman with a Superman punch to Edge. Roman picks up the chair and he breaks off the cross piece. Edge with a spear and then he grabs the part of the chair.
Edge puts Roman in the crossface and uses the piece of the chair in Roman’s mouth. Roman is signaling to someone by patting his head (because we know that Roman does not tap out)
Edge stands over Roman with the title belt in his hand and then he puts it back on top of Roman.

SmackDown Tag Team Champion Rey & Dominik Mysterio vs. The ...

Universal Champion Roman Reigns hasn’t been shy about sharing his grand vision for SmackDown, and that vision includes his cousins hoisting tag team gold for the seventh time.

The Usos will have an opportunity to do exactly that when they challenge The Mysterios for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles this Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank.

The Mysterios only recently returned to the blue brand, but the two premier tandems have immediately become embroiled in a nasty rivalry, as Rey and Dominik have routinely provided backup for Edge during The Rated-R Superstar’s ongoing crusade against Reigns.

At the conclusion of a recent SmackDown, all six Superstars exchanged haymakers, but the evening ended with The Mysterios holding down Jey Uso as Edge applied an excruciating chair-leg assisted crossface.

With animosity at a boiling point, what will happen when The Usos attempt to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles for the fifth time against the first father-son Tag Team Champions in WWE history?

Find out at WWE Money in the Bank, streaming Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else!

Roman Reigns expected The Usos to bring him the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
After a change of heart from last week, Universal Champion Roman Reigns informed The Usos that if they say they are going to do something, they had better do it. Making it clear that the entire family would be watching, The Head of the Table told Jimmy & Jey to get the job done and bring him back the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos in a SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
In the height of an extremely hard-fought SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match, the reunited Usos failed to overcome The Mysterios when the referee was out of position during a Dominik pin attempt and did not see Jimmy Usos’ shoulder lift off the mat.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos by Disqualifacation: Roman Reigns unleashed a vicious assault on the Mysterios
Following a controversial ending to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match earlier in the night, the Mysterios looked as if they may emerge victorious in the height of the rematch against The Usos. That was until Universal Champion Roman Reigns emerged out of nowhere to bring an end to the match and unleash an absolutely brutal attack on Rey and Dominik.

After locking Dominik in the Guillotine, however, Jimmy Uso took issue and informed The Head of the Table that it was enough before storming out of the ring.

Jimmy Uso walks into Roman Reigns’ locker room and finds Jey Uso. Jimmy says Jey’s name should be on the locker room door also. He says they’re going to get their own locker room and the SmackDown Tag Team titles. He keeps on about how Jey shouldn’t be carrying Roman’s bags. They argue and Reigns walks up. Jimmy says he just wants to wish Reigns good luck tonight, champ. Jimmy turns and walks away as Jey and Roman look on.

Back from a break and Jey Uso catches up with Jimmy Uso backstage and yells at him for bringing distractions to Roman Reigns before his big title defense. Jimmy wonders if the sign on the door should say “Roman Reigns and His Bitch” instead. Jimmy walks off.

We see WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the Gorilla Position with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman now. Jey is hyping Reigns up but Reigns interrupts and questions his loyalty. Jey says he’s always riding with Reigns. Reigns says Jey sounds like his brother Jimmy Uso now, so maybe Jey should go find his brother.

Jey Uso runs down and hits the ring, carrying a lei. Jey places it around Reigns’ beck and Reigns nods at him. Jey stares at Cesaro and Reign tells Jey to go get him. Cesaro slowly gets up but Jey drops him with a big superkick, then mounts him with strikes as fans boo. Jey goes to the top to deliver a big Uso Splash but Seth Rollins’ music interrupts.
