Mini Bio: Family. Family protects at all costs. They make sure that everyone at their table is fed. Jimmy and Jey both have that protector in Roman Reigns. Reigns is currently the Universal Champion and his family has rightfully named him the Tribal Chief or The Head of the Table. Reigns had to work hard to get his two cousins, The Usos, to fall in line. Jey fell in line fairly quickly, but when Jimmy returned, he was having none of that. He feels Roman let the title go to his head. The Usos alone are 7x Tag Team Champions and have been named Tag Team of the year. Jey even won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So when it comes to hard work, they aren’t afraid, but they accomplished it on their own.

After winning the Tag Team Championships for the 7th time at Money In The Bank, The Usos remain on a high going into SmackDown. The Usos have made the statement that they are the greatest tag team and they back it up every single time. Tonight The Jimmy Uso goes one on one with Dominik Mysterio. What will happen tonight? Who will gain the upper hand?

Jimmy Uso def. Dominik Mysterio
In the wake of The Usos’ victory over Rey & Dominik Mysterio on the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff to once again become SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Uso scored a singles victory over Dominik with a swift Superkick after a hard-fought battle that saw Rey Mysterio and Jey Uso in their respective corners.

Time to make room in The Bloodline’s trophy case.
On the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff, the second stop on WWE’s return in front of live audiences, Jimmy & Jey Uso fulfilled the prophecy of their cousin, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and defeated Rey & Dominik Mysterio to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

Cheered by the vocal WWE Universe inside the sold-out Dickies Arena, the father-son alliance of Rey & Dominik used a vast arsenal of high-flying moves to put The Usos on their heels, and The Mysterios appeared primed for victory as Rey dialed up the 619 against Jimmy. Jey, however, sacrificed himself in the name of family and took the blow for his brother, giving Jimmy time to recover and drill The Ultimate Underdog with a thunderous superkick.

The Usos then prepared to put away the elder Mysterio with a double top-rope splash, only for Dominik to save the day by ripping Jey off the turnbuckle. In the chaotic moments that immediately followed, Jimmy rolled up Rey, and Jey, outside the ref’s sightline, provided an assist by putting his weight behind his twin brother’s pin attempt, denying Mysterio any chance of kicking out.

The Usos’ victory marks their fifth reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions and seventh tag team title win overall. But if you were to ask Jimmy & Jey, odds are they’d say even those incredible milestones pale in comparison to what matters most: making The Head of the Table proud.

Roman Reigns expected The Usos to bring him the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
After a change of heart from last week, Universal Champion Roman Reigns informed The Usos that if they say they are going to do something, they had better do it. Making it clear that the entire family would be watching, The Head of the Table told Jimmy & Jey to get the job done and bring him back the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos in a SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
In the height of an extremely hard-fought SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match, the reunited Usos failed to overcome The Mysterios when the referee was out of position during a Dominik pin attempt and did not see Jimmy Usos’ shoulder lift off the mat.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos by Disqualifacation: Roman Reigns unleashed a vicious assault on the Mysterios
Following a controversial ending to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match earlier in the night, the Mysterios looked as if they may emerge victorious in the height of the rematch against The Usos. That was until Universal Champion Roman Reigns emerged out of nowhere to bring an end to the match and unleash an absolutely brutal attack on Rey and Dominik.

After locking Dominik in the Guillotine, however, Jimmy Uso took issue and informed The Head of the Table that it was enough before storming out of the ring.

Jimmy Uso walks into Roman Reigns’ locker room and finds Jey Uso. Jimmy says Jey’s name should be on the locker room door also. He says they’re going to get their own locker room and the SmackDown Tag Team titles. He keeps on about how Jey shouldn’t be carrying Roman’s bags. They argue and Reigns walks up. Jimmy says he just wants to wish Reigns good luck tonight, champ. Jimmy turns and walks away as Jey and Roman look on.

Back from a break and Jey Uso catches up with Jimmy Uso backstage and yells at him for bringing distractions to Roman Reigns before his big title defense. Jimmy wonders if the sign on the door should say “Roman Reigns and His Bitch” instead. Jimmy walks off.

We see WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the Gorilla Position with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman now. Jey is hyping Reigns up but Reigns interrupts and questions his loyalty. Jey says he’s always riding with Reigns. Reigns says Jey sounds like his brother Jimmy Uso now, so maybe Jey should go find his brother.

Jey Uso runs down and hits the ring, carrying a lei. Jey places it around Reigns’ beck and Reigns nods at him. Jey stares at Cesaro and Reign tells Jey to go get him. Cesaro slowly gets up but Jey drops him with a big superkick, then mounts him with strikes as fans boo. Jey goes to the top to deliver a big Uso Splash but Seth Rollins’ music interrupts.

All of their lives, Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso have been almost inseparable. From school to sports, this triple threat has gone through the ups and downs of life together. No matter what happened, they are family. They hail from one of the most family oriented cultures in the world. Being Samoan doesn’t just mean tanned skin and wavy hair. It doesn’t mean demigod or island goddess either. It means family. It means love and honor. Being apart of the Samoan Dynasty means whatever you do in life and wherever you go, you always have family first. Everything you do is for your family. In sports Entertainment as well.

For generations, the Samoan Dynasty has taken over the wrestling circuit. From the High Chief Peter Maivia to Yokozuna and Umaga to Sika, Afa, and Rikishi. Sika is Roman Reigns father and Rikishi is the father of Jimmy and Jey Uso. Early in March during Wrestlemania, Jimmy Uso went out with an ACL injury. These injuries take some time to mend. Where does that leave Jey? Jey was not about to sit around and do nothing. He shed blood, sweat and tears and fought his way into the main event title picture of WWE Clash of Champions: Gold Rush Week after week, Jey showed Roman his way of working as a team, until Roman showed him last Friday how to work alone. Working alone, no one has your back. Apparently not even your own blood. Who do you think walks out of WWE Clash the SmackDown Champion? We know it is gonna be a war. Results from the event are below.

Call him The Big Dog, call him the Universal Champion, and now, call him “The Chief.”

That’s what Roman Reigns demands to be called, and after the shocking brutality he unleashed on his own cousin, Jey Uso, to retain the Universal Championship, who would argue otherwise?

The highly personal family issue set the stage for an intense battle from the opening bell, with Reigns happy to engage in trash talk almost immediately.

Jey quickly appeared overmatched, with any offense he mounted quickly stymied by The Big Dog.

But Jey eventually quickened the pace, putting Reigns on his heels after hitting a pair of tope suicidas and a superkick to net a near-fall. He again came close to scoring one of the greatest upsets in WWE history with two more near-falls following a roll-up and his top-rope splash. But in kicking out after the splash, Reigns caught Jey with a low blow and later donned a smile, suggesting it was intentional.

Reigns leveled his cousin with a Spear, resuming the verbal lashing and refusing to cease the beating until Jey acknowledged him as his “tribal chief” before hitting another Spear on his defiant cousin.

Jey’s brother Jimmy emerged, pleading for his brother to let him throw in the towel, but a barely conscious Jey insisted otherwise. That was until Reigns proceeded to rain down lefts and rights with Jey unable to protect himself, practically forcing his brother to throw in the towel and forfeit the match.

Disgusted by his cousin’s actions, Jimmy gave Reigns want he wanted, calling him “The Chief” after the bell. Paul Heyman crowned Reigns with the same lei Jey wore to the ring to complete the coronation.

The match as scheduled was Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown.

But we wound up seeing many more faces than that.

The match had an unusual feel from the jump, as a surging Bryan was interrupted by flickering arena lights and the haunting sound of Bray Wyatt’s laugh. Bryan regained the form that was briefly halted earlier, but in the critical moments, Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt emerged, prompting Bryan to dive right through the ropes at his Royal Rumble opponent. Bryan’s efforts were unsuccessful though, as Wyatt applied the Mandible Claw and smashed Bryan through the barricade on the outside before reapplying the Mandible Claw.

Wyatt vanished just as quickly as he appeared, prompting Corbin & Ziggler to pounce on the solo Reigns. King Corbin & The Showoff tried to replicate their actions of a few weeks ago by attempting to handcuff The Big Dog and pour dog food on him, but their plan was thwarted by the returning Usos! Jimmy & Jey struck with a few vicious superkicks to dispatch Reigns and Corbin before helping their cousin to his feet, closing out an absolutely wild first Friday Night SmackDown of 2020.

Wrestlemania 35 Digitals

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – For a brief moment at WrestleMania 35, the MetLife Stadium became The Uso Penitentiary as Jimmy & Jey stood tall on The Grandest Stage of Them All, defeating The Bar, Ricochet & Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

The action was fast and furious right from the get-go as Aleister Black and Jey Uso traded holds, but the frantic nature of the Fatal 4-Way Match soon came into play, as members from all four teams tagged into the fray in rapid-fire succession.

The NXT upstarts looked like they had the upper hand, as Ricochet dizzied Cesaro with a dazzling headscissors takeover, but an uppercut from The Swiss Superstar stopped The One and Only right in his tracks. The Bar went on a rampage from there, as Cesaro spun Ricochet in the Cesaro Swing for minutes, while Sheamus grabbed anyone within reach and pummeled them with the Beats of the Bodhrán.

Ricochet recovered from Cesaro’s stomach-churning ride, but he was soon caught in the clutches of Rusev, who overpowered the speedy Superstar. Soon, the bout devolved into utter chaos, as a stacked superplex-powerbomb combo from the top rope brought all eight men crashing to the mat in a heap.

The relentless pace continued from there, as superkicks, Kinshasas and Black Masses were delivered with extreme precision. After Sheamus clobbered Ricochet with a Brogue Kick, though, The Celtic Warrior was all alone with Jimmy & Jey. The Usos took Sheamus down with a pair of superkicks, then crushed him with a double splash from the top rope to retain their titles.

The Usos may have left The Show of Shows with their SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but it was clear to the WWE Universe that there will be plenty of tough challenges ahead for the champions.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Bl...

After a long, nine-year journey, The Usos are headed to WrestleMania. Now, the challenge begins.

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be defending their titles against not one, but two tag teams just as hungry as Jimmy & Jey — The New Day, who traded victories with the twins over 2017’s already-legendary series between the tandems, and The Bludgeon Brothers, who have never competed at WrestleMania as a tag team but whose rebirth has already made them a force to be reckoned with on Team Blue.

The championship match first came about when The New Day won the right to once again challenge The Usos for the titles at WWE Fastlane. As that rivalry began to regain steam, Harper & Rowan waited in the wings until they finally struck during the edge-of-your-seat title bout, decimating both teams and sending Xavier Woods to the hospital. The Bludgeon Brothers continued their onslaught the next week, defeating the only medically cleared members of The Usos and New Day — Jimmy Uso and Big E — and using brute strength to position themselves for a title match.

Given that The Usos and The New Day have a grudge to settle against the behemoths (and each other), it’s now a matter every team for themselves, and this one may not come down to who hits what move so much as who is physically left standing when the dust finally settles.

Tune in to WrestleMania to see who leaves as SmackDown Tag Team Champions, streaming live Sunday, April 8, on the award-winning WWE Network at a special start time of 7 ET/5 PT!
