Mini Bio: Family. Family protects at all costs. They make sure that everyone at their table is fed. Jimmy and Jey both have that protector in Roman Reigns. Reigns is currently the Universal Champion and his family has rightfully named him the Tribal Chief or The Head of the Table. Reigns had to work hard to get his two cousins, The Usos, to fall in line. Jey fell in line fairly quickly, but when Jimmy returned, he was having none of that. He feels Roman let the title go to his head. The Usos alone are 7x Tag Team Champions and have been named Tag Team of the year. Jey even won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So when it comes to hard work, they aren’t afraid, but they accomplished it on their own.

Roman Reigns expected The Usos to bring him the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
After a change of heart from last week, Universal Champion Roman Reigns informed The Usos that if they say they are going to do something, they had better do it. Making it clear that the entire family would be watching, The Head of the Table told Jimmy & Jey to get the job done and bring him back the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos in a SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
In the height of an extremely hard-fought SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match, the reunited Usos failed to overcome The Mysterios when the referee was out of position during a Dominik pin attempt and did not see Jimmy Usos’ shoulder lift off the mat.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio def. The Usos by Disqualifacation: Roman Reigns unleashed a vicious assault on the Mysterios
Following a controversial ending to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match earlier in the night, the Mysterios looked as if they may emerge victorious in the height of the rematch against The Usos. That was until Universal Champion Roman Reigns emerged out of nowhere to bring an end to the match and unleash an absolutely brutal attack on Rey and Dominik.

After locking Dominik in the Guillotine, however, Jimmy Uso took issue and informed The Head of the Table that it was enough before storming out of the ring.

Edge def. Jey Uso to become the Special Enforcer at WWE Fastlane; Roman Reigns took out Edge and Daniel Bryan
With Daniel Bryan looking on, Edge emerged victorious in his first SmackDown match in 10 years by overcoming Roman Reigns’ unhinged cousin with the Spear to become the Special Ringside Enforcer for the Universal Championship Match at Fastlane. Moments after the bell, however, The Big Dog took out the victorious Rated-R Superstar and, thanks to Uso, his Fastlane opponent Daniel Bryan with two Spears of his own.

SmackDown Live Digitals | Video Captures

Whether The Bar can survive a Triple Threat title defense on Sunday remains to be seen, but they definitely got more than they bargained for when they challenged The Usos to a Rap Battle, as Jimmy & Jey responded to the champions’ rendition of “Ice, Ice Sheamy” by rapping circles around them and provoking a throwdown between the two teams. The New Day, who won the previous rap battle and returned to host this one, weren’t spared either, but Cesaro & Sheamus eventually cleared the ring of all challengers in a stark reminder to their opponents that while Vanilla Ice parodies may not cut the mustard in a rap battle, there’s no mistaking who’ll be under pressure when the bell rings.

The New Day def. SAnitY to advance to the finals of the SummerSl...

Digitals | Video Captures

With Paige having announced a four-team tag team tournament to decide who would challenge The Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, two of the blue brand’s best, The New Day and SAnitY, kicked off the high-stakes tourney. Adding even more pressure was mutual rival of both teams (and fellow tournament entry) The Usos, watching from ringside as guest commentators and adding their unique takes on both squads.

Hungry to continue proving their mettle on Tuesday nights, SAnitY took control in the early goings with brute strength and dynamic offense of Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain. Having weathered many storms, however, The New Day withstood the onslaught and battled back. In the match’s pivotal moments, Eric Young attempted to interfere, but Kofi Kingston (who was also at ringside in support of his team), was able to fend him off, allowing Big E and Xavier Woods to hit the Midnight Hour to advance to the finals of the tournament.

The New Day’s celebration would be short-lived, however, as it seemed like The Usos would have some words for the victors. However, The Bar then hit the scene to declare that they would defeat The Usos next week en route to becoming new SmackDown Tag Team Champions at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

The Usos are in the back and they say that they have the tag team division on lock. Everyone needs to listen to what they have to say.

Jimmy and Jey Uso make their way to the ring.

Jimmy says that this is the City of Brotherly Love so show some love to your tag team champions. Jey says they told you all they will get silly up in Philly. Sunday they beat Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. Jimmy reminds everyone it was 2-0. Jey says they have been tearing through the tag division since they arrived. They mention American Alpha, American Alpha 2, the Hype Bros, Breezango, New Day, Sheamus and Cesaro and how they are all locked down. They have been doing that since Day One. They say it is not about selling merchandise, it is about a lifestyle. Jey says it represents the struggle. The struggle to pay bills, go to work, and fighting through the struggles.

Jimmy says they are different from every tag team because his struggles are Jey’s struggles. Jimmy says it does not matter where you come from. Jey says they are not saying they are the best tag team, but Jimmy says they are the best tag team.

They welcome everyone to the Uso Penitentiary.

The lights go down and the Bludgeon Brothers make their way to the ring and walk past the Usos.
