Mini Bio: Family. Family protects at all costs. They make sure that everyone at their table is fed. Jimmy and Jey both have that protector in Roman Reigns. Reigns is currently the Universal Champion and his family has rightfully named him the Tribal Chief or The Head of the Table. Reigns had to work hard to get his two cousins, The Usos, to fall in line. Jey fell in line fairly quickly, but when Jimmy returned, he was having none of that. He feels Roman let the title go to his head. The Usos alone are 7x Tag Team Champions and have been named Tag Team of the year. Jey even won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So when it comes to hard work, they aren’t afraid, but they accomplished it on their own.

Time to make room in The Bloodline’s trophy case.
On the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff, the second stop on WWE’s return in front of live audiences, Jimmy & Jey Uso fulfilled the prophecy of their cousin, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and defeated Rey & Dominik Mysterio to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

Cheered by the vocal WWE Universe inside the sold-out Dickies Arena, the father-son alliance of Rey & Dominik used a vast arsenal of high-flying moves to put The Usos on their heels, and The Mysterios appeared primed for victory as Rey dialed up the 619 against Jimmy. Jey, however, sacrificed himself in the name of family and took the blow for his brother, giving Jimmy time to recover and drill The Ultimate Underdog with a thunderous superkick.

The Usos then prepared to put away the elder Mysterio with a double top-rope splash, only for Dominik to save the day by ripping Jey off the turnbuckle. In the chaotic moments that immediately followed, Jimmy rolled up Rey, and Jey, outside the ref’s sightline, provided an assist by putting his weight behind his twin brother’s pin attempt, denying Mysterio any chance of kicking out.

The Usos’ victory marks their fifth reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions and seventh tag team title win overall. But if you were to ask Jimmy & Jey, odds are they’d say even those incredible milestones pale in comparison to what matters most: making The Head of the Table proud.

SmackDown Tag Team Champion Rey & Dominik Mysterio vs. The ...

Universal Champion Roman Reigns hasn’t been shy about sharing his grand vision for SmackDown, and that vision includes his cousins hoisting tag team gold for the seventh time.

The Usos will have an opportunity to do exactly that when they challenge The Mysterios for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles this Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank.

The Mysterios only recently returned to the blue brand, but the two premier tandems have immediately become embroiled in a nasty rivalry, as Rey and Dominik have routinely provided backup for Edge during The Rated-R Superstar’s ongoing crusade against Reigns.

At the conclusion of a recent SmackDown, all six Superstars exchanged haymakers, but the evening ended with The Mysterios holding down Jey Uso as Edge applied an excruciating chair-leg assisted crossface.

With animosity at a boiling point, what will happen when The Usos attempt to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles for the fifth time against the first father-son Tag Team Champions in WWE history?

Find out at WWE Money in the Bank, streaming Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else!

Three of the most dominant tag teams in recent history will collide at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs as The Bar defends the SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The New Day and The Usos in a Triple Threat Match. These three teams each have five Tag Title reigns to their names, making them some of the most accomplished squads to compete in WWE.

Sheamus & Cesaro captured the SmackDown Tag Titles on SmackDown 1000 by defeating The New Day’s Big E & Xavier Woods. Since Survivor Series, though, the reigning champions have hit a snag, with non-title losses to both The New Day and The Usos. Plus, under the Triple Threat Match stipulation, pressure will be even higher on The Bar, considering they do not need to be involved in the decision to lose the titles.

Don’t miss this dream Triple Threat Match at WWE TLC, streaming live on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 7 ET/4 PT on WWE Network.

WWE Network Preview: SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon B...

The Usos’ long-awaited WrestleMania moment turned into a coronation for The Bludgeon Brothers. Now, Jimmy & Jey are coming to set things straight.

The twin high-flyers will challenge Harper & Rowan at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia in a last-ditch effort to combat The Bludgeon Brothers’ recent, unstoppable ascent to the top of SmackDown’s Tag Team division. Harper & Rowan went from dark-horse contenders to two-man wrecking crew in the span of a month. They went from crashing an Usos-New Day title match and wreaking havoc at WWE Fastlane to obliterating both teams in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania, earning their first reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the process.

The Usos, whose fight to finally compete at WrestleMania was well-documented, would not be so easily cast aside, however. After defeating The New Day on SmackDown LIVE to earn the right to challenge The Bludgeon Brothers, they go to Saudi Arabia with payback on their minds and the hope that it will be Day One all over again when they return stateside.

Tune in to the Greatest Royal Rumble event to see which team leaves as SmackDown Tag Team Champions on Friday, April 27, at 7 a.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming, and tickets will be available Friday, April 13.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Bl...

After a long, nine-year journey, The Usos are headed to WrestleMania. Now, the challenge begins.

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be defending their titles against not one, but two tag teams just as hungry as Jimmy & Jey — The New Day, who traded victories with the twins over 2017’s already-legendary series between the tandems, and The Bludgeon Brothers, who have never competed at WrestleMania as a tag team but whose rebirth has already made them a force to be reckoned with on Team Blue.

The championship match first came about when The New Day won the right to once again challenge The Usos for the titles at WWE Fastlane. As that rivalry began to regain steam, Harper & Rowan waited in the wings until they finally struck during the edge-of-your-seat title bout, decimating both teams and sending Xavier Woods to the hospital. The Bludgeon Brothers continued their onslaught the next week, defeating the only medically cleared members of The Usos and New Day — Jimmy Uso and Big E — and using brute strength to position themselves for a title match.

Given that The Usos and The New Day have a grudge to settle against the behemoths (and each other), it’s now a matter every team for themselves, and this one may not come down to who hits what move so much as who is physically left standing when the dust finally settles.

Tune in to WrestleMania to see who leaves as SmackDown Tag Team Champions, streaming live Sunday, April 8, on the award-winning WWE Network at a special start time of 7 ET/5 PT!

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day

Who’s ready for another instant classic?

The Usos and The New Day will reignite their rivalry at WWE Fastlane when Jimmy & Jey defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against the record-setting titleholders, who earned the honor after defeating perennial contenders Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin.

This isn’t just the latest in a series of challenges to The Usos’ dominance; it’s a chance for ya boys to get back on the championship track. Kofi, Big E & Woods haven’t tasted tag team title glory since last fall, when they lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to The Usos inside Hell in a Cell. They’ve subsided on a healthy diet of pancakes and positivity since then, but a championship victory would truly be the heartiest meal of all.

The Usos and The New Day brought out the best of each other in 2017, and while only one will leave WWE Fastlane as champions, this latest rematch is truly a scenario where everybody wins —the WWE Universe in particular.

Tune in to see who will lay claim to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WWE Fastlane, streaming live on Sunday, March 11, at 8 ET/5 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Royal Rumble Preview: The Usos Vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benj...

Technically, Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin already beat The Usos twice. To win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, however, they’ll have to do it two more times.

The mat mavens will challenge Jimmy & Jey Uso in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match at Royal Rumble, bringing to a head a twisting rivalry that saw Gable & Benjamin take down The Usos in the waning months of 2017 before scratching and clawing their way past the rest of the Tag Team division to a title match on SmackDown LIVE. Despite defeating The Usos in that championship bout, Gable & Benjamin pinned the wrong Uso, leading to a restart of the match when a second referee pointed out the mistake to the primary official.

The Usos were ultimately able to retain and Gable & Benjamin called out the second referee in frustration the following week, only to get SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan instead. While The “Yes!” Man attempted to cool Gable & Benjamin’s tempers, the disappointed duo asked if they had to beat The Usos twice in one night to get the glory they deserved. Voila: A 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.

Can Gable & Benjamin go the distance and finally smash down the walls of The Uso Penitentiary? Or will Jimmy & Jey prove to be just as unbeatable in 2018 as they were in 2017? Tune into the Royal Rumble event, streaming live, Sunday, Jan. 28, on the award-winning WWE Network at a special start time of 7 ET/5 PT to find out.

During a night where every title is on the line, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos will defend the gold in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Dec. 17, streaming live on WWE Network.

There is no love lost between Jimmy & Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods. Though the two teams seem to have developed mutual respect, they were recently engaged in one of the most heated rivalries in history, punctuated by a brutal match contested inside the horrifying confines of Hell in a Cell that saw Jimmy & Jey win the titles. And while they may respect the twins, The New Day will undoubtedly hold nothing back in their quest to become five-time Tag Team Champions.

And then there’s Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable, the mat-wrestling mavens who defeated The Hype Bros, Breezango & The Ascension to earn a title opportunity against The Usos. Benjamin & Gable went all-out in their pursuit of the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a championship bout several weeks ago, with Gable taking out the knee of Jey Uso to give his team a win by count-out – so they did not win the titles. However, after claiming a win over Jimmy & Jey, the grapplers believe that they are entitled to a championship rematch. They’ll get their opportunity at WWE Clash of Champions.

Who will leave Boston with the SmackDown Tag Team Titles? Find out on a night where every championship is on the line at WWE Clash of Champions, streaming live Sunday, Dec. 17, at 8 ET/5 PT on the award-winning WWE Network!
