Mini Bio: Family. Family protects at all costs. They make sure that everyone at their table is fed. Jimmy and Jey both have that protector in Roman Reigns. Reigns is currently the Universal Champion and his family has rightfully named him the Tribal Chief or The Head of the Table. Reigns had to work hard to get his two cousins, The Usos, to fall in line. Jey fell in line fairly quickly, but when Jimmy returned, he was having none of that. He feels Roman let the title go to his head. The Usos alone are 7x Tag Team Champions and have been named Tag Team of the year. Jey even won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So when it comes to hard work, they aren’t afraid, but they accomplished it on their own.

Survivor Series Preview: Raw Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamu...
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: Articles

They say that anything can happen in WWE, and Cesaro & Sheamus just proved that old chestnut right. Thanks to a surprise appearance by The New Day that threw Raw into chaos, the two-man wrecking crew commonly known as “The Bar” dethroned Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins as Raw Tag Team Champions, thereby swapping themselves in for The Shield in the epic Champion vs. Champion bout against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos this Sunday at Survivor Series.

While the upset delays the long-awaited dream match that has been brewing since the summer on Twitter, it also changes the stakes in a major way for the two teams, both of whom have now notched multiple reigns this year alone. For Cesaro & Sheamus, on their third stint with Team Red’s titles, a match with The Usos (fresh off of trading title reigns with The New Day in a series of instant classics) is a chance to prove they are indeed the embodiment of excellence in WWE’s tag team division.

Meanwhile, Jimmy & Jey, who have gone through perhaps the most radical reinvention of any team in 2017, have a chance to prove they’re more than just the big fish in the Team Blue pond. The twins have been angling for a fight with Raw’s Tag Team Champions since WrestleMania time, and now, with the opportunity at their doorstep, the pressure is on to deliver. The Shield would have posed enough of a challenge for them to do so, but now, ironically, the only thing standing in the way of The Uso Penitentiary is one near-unbreakable Bar.

Tune in to Survivor Series to see which team prevails in this head-to-head competition for brand supremacy this Sunday at a special start time of 7 ET/ 4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

Total Divas | Season 7 Episode 3: Approval Is Overrated
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: Appearances, Coverage, Links, Total Divas

You know that old chestnut about well-behaved women seldom making history? Lana and Naomi put that adage to the test in a major way, taking their careers into their own hands with executive decisions that sidestep WWE’s rigorous (and slow) approval process. Lana, who’s still looking for a way back into the ring, decides to tweet out a photo of herself with her shoulder off the mat during her last title match, thereby giving her legitimate grounds for another go in the ring. Naomi, in a slightly more brazen maneuver, ships her SmackDown Women’s Championship out to a company that installs a lighting rig to make it glow in the dark, thereby completing her long-in-the-works “glow” persona.

In a shocking twist (and to the general befuddlement of by-the-book Natalya), both women get a pass: Lana because WWE decides to spin the negative into a positive, and Naomi because the title ends up being so unique it can’t be ignored, though they’re both warned to play by the rules. Their story concludes with their rubber match on SmackDown LIVE, which Naomi wins handily, though if next week’s previews are any indication, Lana won’t go quietly.

Prior to Jimmy Uso’s match against Chad Gable, he and his brother Jey made it clear that Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro will not just be stepping into the ring with the SmackDown Tag Team Champions at Survivor Series; they would be stepping into The Uso Penitentiary.

Gable & Shelton Benjamin notched a controversial count-out victory last week during their SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match against the Samoan warriors after Gable took out Jey Uso with a savage chopblock, so Jimmy was fired up from the get-go and looking to gain retribution for his twin tonight.

The Usos, who will attempt to clear The Bar this Sunday, picked up major Survivor Series momentum when Jimmy overcame his opponent by connecting squarely with a wicked Superkick for the 1-2-3.
However, that all changed when The Shield’s music suddenly rang through the arena, and the combatants of SmackDown realized that Raw’s counterstrike had finally arrived.

…When The Hounds of Justice surrounded the ring, Zayn and Owens opted to bail, and Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns attacked The New Day. The Usos soon joined the fray, followed by Cesaro and Sheamus, and the situation was transforming into an out-of-control brawl.

Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable got their first opportunity at the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on SmackDown LIVE in Manchester, and the two championship-hungry Superstars used some savage tactics to help their chances of claiming the gold. Prior to the contest, The Usos attempted to psych-out the challengers, labeling them “American Alpha part two” and then getting the jump on them before the bell could ring.

Once the match officially started, The Usos continued to push the pace, but Benjamin & Gable were more than game in keeping up with the champions in an incredibly hostile and physical bout. The title bout took an unexpected turn (and came to a surprisingly quick conclusion) when Jey Uso was unable to meet the official’s 10-count after falling prey to a ferocious chopblock from Gable, giving Benjamin & Gable the count-out victory, but not the titles. (

He says it is two chumps who think they will take their titles. It is two chumps who think they will represent Smackdown at the Survivor Series. He says it is American Alpha Part two.
